Fidencio Vargas

Fidencio J. Vargas Jr. graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle and received a B.A. in Sociology.  Fidencio moved to San Diego to become a Special Educator in the San Diego Unified School District.  He has worked as a Case Manager for San Diego’s YMCA Youth & Family Services and partnered with the San Diego County Juvenile Probation Division to counsel disadvantaged teens and their families.  As a Certified Intensive Skills Building Therapist, he has widespread experience working with both children and adults with autism, mental retardation, severe emotional disabilities and other pervasive disorders.

Fidencio has gained extensive experience traveling throughout Central America and Mexico to work with diverse populations, cultures, schools, and other non-profit social service agencies that have helped revitalize local communities.  He is extremely passionate about helping people with disabilities and Exceptional Families find safe and permanent housing solutions.
